Pokemon Go is very popular game nowadays as NIANTIC is implementing more and more items in the game along with many interesting events. Today (20 April, 2017), a event naming Eggstarvaganza is coming to an end. For this Easter, NIANTIC announced this one week long event full of double XP, more 2KM egg from Pokestops and Higher chance of getting RARE Pokemon from 2KM egg! Some People hatched SNORLEX, LAPRAS, LICKITUNG and many more RARE Pokemon from 2 KM eggs.
During this event, Lucky Eggs have also got cheap. They have dropped in price as you can get one Lucky Egg for 40 Pokecoins. If you want to buy them in bundle, you can do so in half the regular price as 8 and 25 egg costs 250 and 625 Pokecoins respectfully! It's quite a price drop considering the regular pricing of these egg and the benefits you get from these eggs! During this event, dropping a lucky egg will give us 4 Times the XP, we normally get! That means, we can get 400 for every normal Pokemon catches and 200 for spinning Pokestops. It is also very beneficial to use for doing Evolutions. So, for every evolution we can get 4 times the regular XP and that is 500*4=2000 XP!
This is also a great time to level up in Pokemon GO as those quadruple XP helps Trainers level up soon! A NIANTIC Employee said to save candies couple of weeks earlier. So those who saved their candies have great luck and they are now droping Lucky eggs and evolving their Pokemons and getting 4 times the XP. This helping them to fill that Level up Bar to fill quickly. For example, evolving a lot of PIDGEYs and super common Pokemons just for XP is one of the best way to level up! By dropping Lucky Egg, I was able to get 124000 XP in 30 minutes.
I Started this week in Level 26. I was quite close to getting towards Level 27. But as the even started and all the double and quadruple XP came in, leveling up became a piece of cake. I leveled up every other day as i caught every Pokemon i could find and Every Evolution i could do. As a regular player, I don't use DOLLARS to buy PokeCoins. So, I battle local gyms, take them down or train them sothat i can post my Pokemon there! By doing so, i can get PokeCoin from the shop for free as a defender of the Gym! I will post the whole process another time! So, finally, It was a great day for Pokemon and the trainers. Specially those who are new to the game as every PokeDex entry gives them double and sometimes quadruple XP!
